Musicians of the Naples Philharmonic open the Sypert Salon series with two transformative works in an energetic and emotionally charged program, both in the key of E-flat Major — a key often associated with Beethoven’s heroic style. The performance begins with Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel’s String Quartet, a work that reflects her creative freedom and is often regarded as one of the earliest substantial string quartets composed by a woman.
